Privacy
Policy

This policy explains how TenniLog handles match data and advertising-related information.

Effective: July 22, 2026 / Updated: September 5, 2026Applies to: TenniLog for iOS and watchOS

1. Our approach

The TenniLog developer (“the Developer”) handles only the minimum information necessary to provide the TenniLog tennis and soft tennis scorekeeping app. Core match-record processing takes place on your devices.

2. Data handled on your devices

The app stores the following information on your iPhone or Apple Watch:

  • Player names, dominant hand, match rules, and input settings
  • Match dates, scores, points won and lost, shot details, and other match records
  • Temporary data needed to synchronize your iPhone and Apple Watch

The Developer does not transmit this match data to a Developer-operated server and cannot access or view it. Depending on your Apple device backup settings, the data may be included in a device backup.

If you use the app’s sharing feature, information such as player names, match dates, rules, scores, and point details is sent to the destination you select. Sharing occurs only when you initiate it. After it is shared, the information is handled under the terms and privacy policy of the destination service.

3. Advertising and third-party services

The iOS app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google may collect the following information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve quality:

  • Approximate location inferred from an IP address
  • Device identifiers, including an advertising identifier when available
  • Ads shown, interactions with ads, and interactions with the app
  • Crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic information

Whether this information is collected and the extent of collection depend on your region, device settings, and consent choices. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Managing consent

Where consent is required, a Google UMP consent form is displayed when the app starts. When privacy options are required, you can review or change your choices from the privacy settings button on the Home screen. You can also manage advertising-related settings in your device’s Privacy & Security settings.

5. Retention and deletion

Match records and player information remain on your devices until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Data may reappear if you restore a device backup. Information handled by Google is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies.

6. Children

The app does not collect a user’s age. Anyone who requires parental supervision should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when laws, app features, or third-party services change. Important changes will be announced on this page or in the app.
