These Terms of Use (“the Terms”) set out the conditions for using the App provided by the XI Board developer (“the Developer”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the Terms. The Japanese version of the Terms is the official version; this English version is provided for convenience.
1. Scope
The Terms apply to all matters between the Developer and users relating to the use of the App. The App is distributed through Apple's App Store, and in addition to the Terms, you agree to follow Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).
2. Fees and advertising
- The App is free to use.
- The App displays ads delivered by third parties. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising-related information is handled.
- You are responsible for providing, at your own expense, the device, network connection and data charges needed to use the App.
3. Data storage and backup
- Teams, players, formations, kits, player photos and other data you create in the App are stored only on your device.
- The Developer is not responsible for recovering data lost because the App was deleted, the OS was reset, or the device was damaged or lost. Please back up your data as needed, for example with the App's Export Data feature.
- Importing a backup file replaces the data on your device with the contents of that file. You import backup files at your own responsibility.
4. Content you add
When you add or share player names, photos or other content, you are responsible for having the necessary rights and the consent of the people involved. You are responsible for resolving any dispute with a third party that arises from content you add or share.
5. Prohibited conduct
When using the App, you must not:
- Violate any law or public order and morals
- Infringe the intellectual property, portrait, privacy or other rights of the Developer or any third party
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App
- Damage or interfere with the App or any related server or network
- Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Click or interact with ads by fraudulent means
- Engage in any other conduct the Developer considers inappropriate
6. Intellectual property
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the App and its programs, designs, logos, images and other content belong to the Developer or the rightful owners. Rights to the formations and other data you create in the App belong to you, but you are solely responsible for any use of images created with the App.
The kit designs and color schemes in the App combine common patterns and colors. They are not associated with, endorsed by or affiliated with any club, organization or brand.
7. Changes to or suspension of the App
The Developer may change the App, or suspend or end its provision, without prior notice. The Developer is not responsible for any damage this causes to you or any third party.
8. Disclaimer
- The App is provided “as is.” The Developer does not guarantee that the App is complete, accurate, useful, fit for a particular purpose, or free of errors or defects.
- Except in cases of intent or gross negligence by the Developer, the Developer is not liable for any damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
- The content of ads shown in the App and any dealings with advertisers are the responsibility of you and the advertiser. The Developer bears no responsibility for them.
9. Changes to the Terms
The Developer may change the Terms when it considers it necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on this page, in the App or on the App Store listing.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
The Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the App is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
