1. Our approach
The XI Board developer (“the Developer”) handles only the minimum information needed to provide the App. Creating and editing formations takes place entirely on your device. No account is required to use the App.
2. Data stored on your device
The App stores the following information on your iPhone:
- Team names, and player names, numbers, positions and captain settings
- Player photos that you choose
- Formations, drafts, player placement and kit settings
- Display settings, such as the pitch angle and whether numbers and photos are shown
The Developer does not transmit this data to a Developer-operated server and cannot access or view it. Depending on your Apple device backup settings (such as iCloud Backup), the data may be included in a device backup.
3. Access to photos
When you add a player photo, the App uses the standard iOS photo picker. The App receives only the photos you select and does not access your entire photo library. Selected photos are stored only on your device.
4. Shared images and backup files
When you use the share feature, an image that may include team and formation names, player names and numbers, and player photos is sent to the destination you choose. When you use Export Data, a backup file containing your teams, formations, display settings and player photos is created and passed to the location you choose.
Both happen only when you initiate them. Once shared or saved, the information is handled under the terms and privacy policy of the destination service.
5. Advertising
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display ads and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent. The App requests non-personalized ads, does not ask for permission through App Tracking Transparency, and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
Google may collect the following information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve quality:
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address
- Device information, such as device type and OS version
- Ads shown, and interactions with ads and the App
- Crash logs, performance data and other diagnostic information
| Provider | Privacy policy |

Whether this information is collected, and to what extent, depends on your region, device settings and consent choices.
6. Managing consent
In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, a Google UMP consent form is shown when the App starts. You can also manage advertising-related settings in Privacy & Security in your device's Settings app.
7. Analytics
The App does not use any analytics tools of the Developer's own.
8. Retention and deletion
Data on your device remains until you delete it in the App or delete the App. Data may reappear if you restore a device backup or import a backup file. Information collected by Google is retained and deleted according to Google's policies.
9. Children
The App does not collect users' ages. Anyone who needs parental supervision should use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when laws, App features or third-party services change. Important changes will be announced on this page or in the App.
