FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Your teams, players, formations, kits and player photos are all stored on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server operated by the developer. Deleting the app also deletes this data.
Can I move my data to a new iPhone?
Tap the gear button in the upper-right corner of the team list to open Settings, then choose Export Data under Backup to save a backup file (JSON). Player photos are included. On your new iPhone, choose Import Data on the same screen and select that file. Importing replaces the data currently on that device.
How do I make a substitution?
Long-press a player in Substitutes or Not Selected at the bottom of the formation screen, then drag them onto a player on the pitch and release. Players on the pitch can be dragged to move their position.
Which players appear in shared images?
Players on the pitch and in Substitutes are included. Players in Not Selected are left out. Move a player to Substitutes before sharing if you want to include them. Substitutes appear below the pitch and wrap onto additional rows when needed.
How do I use 2nd and 3rd kits?
Tap "+" in the kit area of the team screen to add a 2nd or 3rd kit (goalkeepers too). You can choose which kit to show on the pitch—1st, 2nd or 3rd—for each formation.
How do I change the pitch view?
Use the Pitch Angle button on the formation screen to choose Top View, Angled View or Low Angle, each in portrait or landscape.
How do I set a captain?
Tap a player on the formation screen, turn on Captain in the editor, then tap Save. Each formation has one player wearing the armband. Choosing another captain removes the previous player's armband. In the team roster editor, you can mark multiple players as captain candidates.
Can I undo and redo edits?
Use Undo on the formation screen to undo the last edit, and Redo to restore an action you have undone. A button is unavailable when there is no action to undo or redo.
How do I line up players neatly?
While you drag a player on the pitch, guides appear for horizontal and vertical alignment with other players, the center of the pitch, and mirrored positions. Players snap into alignment as you approach a guide. Keep dragging to move freely again.
My player edits were not applied.
Tap Save in the player editor to apply your changes. If you close the editor with unsaved changes, the app asks whether to discard them.
The app says it cannot read my saved data.
The app protects the original data while trying to recover what it can read. Follow the message in the app and contact us without deleting the app. If you have a backup, you can restore it with Import Data in Settings. Before importing, use Export Data to save the data currently shown.
Can I remove ads?
An option to remove ads is not currently available. Ads help keep the app free.
