Alarm Calendar
Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Alarm Calendar.

Effective: August 30, 2026Last updated: August 31, 2026Developer: Kazuya Abe

1. Application and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the iOS app Alarm Calendar (“the App”) provided by Kazuya Abe (“the Developer”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the App Provides

The App is a tool for creating and managing events, notes, alarms, and notifications and viewing them in calendars and widgets. It may also provide Apple Calendar integration, iCloud sync, event templates, sports schedule retrieval, and related features.

3. Important Notice About Alarms and Notifications

Alarms and notifications may not operate at the scheduled time due to your device or operating system, permissions, volume, Silent Mode, Focus settings, power or network conditions, Apple system limits, or other circumstances. Depending on your operating system and how far away an event is, the App may use a local notification rather than the system alarm feature.

Important: Do not use the App as the sole notification method for matters involving health, medication, personal safety, property, emergencies, transportation, or any other situation in which a missed notification could cause serious harm. Use another alarm or verification method when appropriate.

4. Requirements and External Services

The App requires a compatible device and operating system. It may use Apple Calendar, notifications, alarms, iCloud, the App Store, widgets, Google advertising and privacy management services, email and web browser apps, and websites or web services that provide sports schedules.

Each external service is governed by its provider’s terms. The Developer does not control the service’s availability, accuracy, changes, discontinuation, or external content.

5. Apple Calendar and iCloud

Apple Calendar integration and iCloud sync require permissions, an Apple Account, and other applicable settings. Syncing, exporting, or importing may be delayed, duplicated, conflicted, incomplete, or unsuccessful, and data may be lost. You are responsible for reviewing important events and keeping any backups you need.

6. Sports Schedules

Sports schedules, start times, venues, team names, and related details shown in the App are reference information based on public sources. Games may be postponed or canceled, details may change, and retrieval or display errors may occur. Check official league, club, or team information before making travel, ticketing, or other decisions.

The App is not an official app of, and is not endorsed or sponsored by, any displayed sports organization, league, club, or team. Names, logos, and other rights belong to their respective owners.

7. Advertising

The App may display advertisements using third-party services such as the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Advertising content, measurement, personalization, and the products or services linked from an ad are governed by the App’s Privacy Policy and each provider’s terms and policies.

8. Your Responsibilities

You use the App at your own responsibility. You are responsible for information you enter, alarm and notification settings, management of your device and Apple Account, data storage, and any backups you need. If you enter another person’s information, obtain their permission where appropriate.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or public policy
  • Infringe the rights, interests, reputation, or privacy of another person
  • Gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or misuse the App or any external service
  • Analyze, modify, copy, or redistribute the App beyond what applicable law permits
  • Engage in other conduct the Developer reasonably determines to be inappropriate

10. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights in the App’s software, text, images, design, and other content belong to the Developer or their respective rights holders. These Terms do not grant you any right beyond the limited right needed for personal use of the App.

Some sounds included in the App use material provided by OtoLogic and remain subject to the applicable license terms of their rights holder.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided without warranties of accuracy, completeness, security, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with your environment, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, guaranteed alarms or notifications, or permanent storage, syncing, or restoration of data.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for losses arising from use or inability to use the App, missed alarms or notifications, lost or inaccurate event data, sports schedule changes or errors, external services, or advertising, except where caused by the Developer’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded. Mandatory consumer protection laws take precedence where applicable.

13. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation

The Developer may change, add, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App as needed for maintenance, incident response, improvements, legal compliance, external service changes, or other reasons.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Developer may update these Terms as needed. Material changes will be announced on this page, in the App, or through another appropriate method. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the App or these Terms will be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction as provided by applicable law.

16. Contact

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA).
