This policy explains how the iOS app Alarm Calendar handles user information.

Effective: August 30, 2026Last updated: August 31, 2026Developer: Kazuya Abe

1. Our Approach

Kazuya Abe (“the Developer”) handles user information only as necessary to provide the iOS app Alarm Calendar (“the App”). Events and other content entered by users are primarily processed on the device. The Developer does not operate a separate server for collecting this content.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information on your device:

  • Events, dates, times, alarms, notification times, recurrence rules, notes, and colors entered by you
  • Templates for frequently used events
  • App settings, including display, notification, calendar integration, and selected team preferences
  • Identifiers used to associate Apple Calendar events with settings in the App

This information is used to display and search events, schedule alarms and notifications, show widgets, and provide the App’s other features. Information needed by widgets is shared between the App and its widgets using an App Group container provided by Apple.

3. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, events, alarms, templates, and settings are synced between devices signed in to the same Apple Account through Apple’s iCloud service. The Developer does not operate a separate server to collect synced content and does not view your events or notes.

Information stored in iCloud is handled according to Apple’s Privacy Policy and your iCloud settings.

4. Apple Calendar Access

With your permission, the App can display, search, and import events from Apple Calendar and export events created in the App to a calendar you select. Calendar information is used on your device only as needed for these features and is not sent to a server operated by the Developer.

You can change calendar access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.

5. Notifications and Alarms

The App uses Apple’s local notification system and, on supported operating systems, the system alarm feature to provide alarms at times you select, notifications before events, and next-day event summaries. Notification content is created on your device. You can change notification and alarm permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Sports Schedule Retrieval

To retrieve schedules for leagues or teams you select, the App connects to websites or web services operated by sports organizations, league operators, or other providers of public schedule information. The selected league or team, requested date range, and similar request parameters may be included. The destination service may process your IP address, general device or browser communication information, access time, and similar data in its server logs.

Retrieved schedules are displayed and stored in the App. Event names, notes, and Apple Calendar content you enter are not sent to schedule providers.

7. Advertising and Privacy Choices

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to serve advertisements. Google or advertising partners may automatically collect or use the following information to serve ads, measure effectiveness, prevent fraud, and maintain or improve their services:

  • Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Device information, operating system and app version, and device or advertising identifiers when available
  • Ad impressions and interactions, advertising data, and app interaction information
  • Crash data, launch time, diagnostics, and performance data

The information collected depends on your region, device settings, privacy choices, and the advertising method used. For details, see Google’s App Store data disclosure, Privacy Policy, and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

The App uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Where consent or privacy choices are required, UMP displays an information and choice form. When revisiting choices is available, “Ad Privacy Options” appears in the App’s Settings screen.

8. Information You Send When Contacting Us

If you contact the Developer by email, your email address, message, and any information you voluntarily include or attach are sent through your email provider. The Developer uses this information to reply, investigate issues, and provide support. Please do not send private event names, notes, or other personal content that is not needed for your request.

9. Sharing with Third Parties

The Developer does not disclose personal information received from users to third parties except when required by law, with the user’s consent, or when an external service described above processes information as necessary to provide the App.

10. Retention and Deletion

Events, alarms, templates, and settings stored on your device remain until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. Events exported to Apple Calendar, information synced to iCloud, and device backups may remain after the App is deleted. Their retention and deletion are governed by Apple’s services and your settings.

Information processed by advertising providers, sports schedule providers, and email providers is retained according to each provider’s policy. Information received in support inquiries is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and meet legal requirements, then deleted appropriately.

11. Security

The Developer takes reasonable steps to help prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or damage to information handled by the Developer. However, information may be lost or damaged due to device loss or failure, unauthorized access, operating system or external service changes, or other circumstances. Please protect your device passcode and Apple Account.

12. Children

The App is not designed primarily for children. Minors should use the App with parental or guardian consent where appropriate.

13. Changes to This Policy

The Developer may update this policy in response to changes in laws, external services, or App features. Material changes will be announced on this page, in the App, or through another appropriate method. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page.
